Everyone is trying to survive

Irving Rosenfeld is a con man whose partner in crime is a seductive British beauty, Sydney Prosser. The pair are cornered by a dashing FBI agent, Richie DiMaso, who forces them to cooperate with him.

Soon, Rosenfeld and Prosser find themselves balancing between the mafia and the FBI. The deal is further complicated by Rosenfeld's loudmouthed wife and the well-meaning but greedy mayor of New Jersey.
