When Chicago musicians Joe (Curtis) and Jerry (Lemmon) accidentally stumble upon a gangland clearing up their differences, they rush to hop on a train to Florida, where they become Josephine and Daphne, the newest ? and ugliest ? members of a girl jazz band. Everything runs smoothly? until a love-sick singer (Monroe) falls for "Josephine", a slightly jaded playboy (Joe E.
