Anthony Campion is a young, liberal and progressive Anglican priest who is given a rather unusual task. The painter Norman Lindsay has angered the Anglican Church with his latest exhibition. Lindsay is known for his bold depictions of naked women, and the highlight of his latest exhibition is a nude woman pierced by a cross.
