But as they settle into their new lives, they learn that their dream home was the scene of a murder of the previous residents, a mother and her children.
And the entire village believes the husband behind the tragedy, who survived the incident, is the one who survived. As Will begins to investigate the tragedy, his only clue comes from Ann Paterson, a neighbor who was close to the deceased family. As the pieces of the tragedy fall into place, Will and Ann learn that the story of the last man to leave their dream home bears terrifying similarities to the relationship that has just moved into it.
