Pennies from Heaven

Pennies From Heaven is a 1978 BBC television drama series written by Dennis Potter. The title is taken from the song of the same name written by Johnny Burke and Arthur Johnston. It was one of several Potter series that mixed the reality of the drama with dark fantasy content, and one of his early works in which the characters would riff on popular 1930s songs.
