The Frisco Kid

Rabbi Avram arrives in Philadelphia from Poland on his way to San Francisco, where he will become the new rabbi of the congregation. An innocent and inexperienced traveler, he is tricked into paying for his trip west by con artists, who then leave him and his belongings scattered on a deserted road.

He befriends a stranger named Tommy, a bank robber, and has many adventures along the way.
