The second season brings new twists to the story of ex-convict turned sheriff Lucas Hood and his former partner in crime Carrie Hopewell. After her father's death, Carrie is torn between loyalty to her family and loyalty to Lucas. Lucas, on the other hand, has his hands full when a Kinaho girl is murdered, tensions between the Amish and the Kinaho tribe begin to flare, and an uninvited surprise guest appears.
