Lights, camera, lots of action! Screenwriter Shane Black's (Lethal Weapon) directorial debut is a clever mix of buddy movie and hard-boiled film noir. Joel Silver is the producer. Robert Downey Jr., Val Kilmer and Michelle Monaghan star as a trio: a naive pervert, a diamond-hard gay detective and an actress clinging to her dreams.
