Criminal duo Bobby Trench and Michael "Stig" Stigman are about to rob the Tres Cruces bank of $3 million. Tres Cruces is not just any bank, it's where Mexican drug lord Papi Greco keeps the money. In reality, both are undercover agents for Papi's drug cartel, Trench from the DEA and Stigman from Naval Intelligence. The tough guys trust each other as little as they do the criminals they've been sent to catch. And there's a very natural reason for this; the intelligence between federal agencies is notoriously poor, so they're completely unaware of each other's covert mission. Instead of $3 million, they end up with over $43 million. It turns out that the money actually belongs to the CIA and comes from protection fees collected from drug cartels. The duo's superiors deny that they are in the service of the federal government. Everyone wants them either in prison or buried.
