Veijo Haukka (Matti Onnismaa) is a mechanic who puts down old and sick pets as a side job. Despite his tough job, Veijo is kind to animals, but he is not as kind to pet owners. Petri Kettu (Jari Virman) brings Veijo his dog to be put down. Veijo's heart softens and he takes the dog in. Like a stealth, Veijo's faith in humanity also returns and his heart even finds room for love.
