This time Harry's partner is a karate master. The mobsters who have sworn to out-spy Harry are now trying to protect him. In the most intense chase scene since Bullitt, Harry drives a pin into a board to catch a radio-controlled car loaded with a bomb. The film serves as a brilliant showcase for two future stars: Jim Carrey is terrific as a down-on-his-luck heavy metal musician, and Liam Neeson gives a stellar performance as a menacing film director. If you want some serious action, you should join the pool.
