Koiran päiviä (R&A)

Hundstage

A stiflingly hot weekend in the suburbs of Vienna, in a lovely setting with the rhythm of autobahns, terraced houses and supermarkets. Six intertwining stories emerge from the heat. Days are spent basking in the sun in their underwear, nights are lost in booze and sex. The film, which won an award in Venice, was shot over three years on the hottest days of the summer. The actors are amateurs.
