Kundun

Tibetans call the Dalai Lama "Kundun", which means "Present One". The young Dalai Lama was forced to flee his homeland of Tibet when Communist China occupied and implemented a regime that suppressed the peace-loving Tibetans. The Dalai Lama fled to India in 1959 and has lived in exile in Dharamsala ever since.
