At the beginning of the film, The Bride is shot and left for dead on her wedding day. After waking up from a four-year coma, she decides to seek out and kill everyone who was involved in her assassination attempt. This group, the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, had previously worked with The Bride.
The Bride begins her bloody journey of revenge and heads towards her first target, O-Ren Ishii (played by Lucy Liu), a former member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. Along the way, she encounters other former colleagues, such as Vernita Green (played by Vivica A. Fox) and Bud (played by Michael Madsen), and must fight ruthlessly in various encounters to survive.
The film combines powerful visuals, stylish fight scenes and Tarantino's signature dialogue. The Bride demonstrates incredible skill and perseverance in her quest for revenge. The story unfolds in both the present and flashbacks to the past, gradually revealing the reasons and motives for her revenge.
"Kill Bill, Volume 1" is a fast-paced and bloody action film that contains a lot of skillfully choreographed fight scenes.
