The year is 1810. The Poldark family's finances are running low, and when Father Ross joins the army to fight the French, things get tough. But suddenly the mysterious Stephen Cravenson, a mysterious man rescued from a shipwreck, comes to the rescue. The Unknown Man from the Sea is a grandiose film adaptation based on Winston Graham's beloved Poldark books.
