Experienced geologist Kristian Eikfjord has just accepted a job in a new town and the family is leaving Geiranger, Norway. The moving load is already packed when Kristian's colleagues measure small but significant changes in the stability of the village's soil. Kristian, a specialist in the field, is worried about the measurement results and his worst nightmare comes true, the results become alarming and it is clear that disaster is certain to strike the town. Although the accident has already been expected, no one is prepared for it when the Åkneset mountain range collapses into the Geirangerfjord and creates a huge flood wave. Kristian and his team have ten minutes to do everything they can. Not only to save their family from the flood of all time, but to save what they can from the entire Norwegian town.
