Lannistumaton Luke

Cool Hand Luke

What we have here is a failure of communication.

When petty criminal Luke Jackson is sentenced to two years in a Florida prison, he plays by neither the rules of the sadistic guard nor the rules of the yard dweller Dragline, who ends up admiring the new man's unbreakable will. Luke's courage, even in the prison's dreaded solitary confinement cell, "the box," makes him a rebel hero and a thorn in the side of the prison officers.
