The head of the Knight Foundation, a terminally ill millionaire Wilton Knight, has long been looking for a man who could act as the face of the Law and Justice Foundation, and so Michael is given a new face due to his facial injury and Long is given a new identity as Michael Knight. From then on, Michael only works for the foundation with the help of his miracle car.
