Movie 1

The Lock of the Plains
Tuomas, a farmer, is the only peasant in the village who does not sell his land to Adler, the patron of Lohikoski, and to spite him, he starts building a dam to defy the marsh drainage project on the Lohikoski lands. Over the summer, the patron's student son Harri and Kantola's daughter Annika fall in love, which is not approved by either father or Annika's ex-fiancé Tuomas.
