Open Hearts / Rakastan sinua ikuisesti

Elsker dig for evigt
The Danish film that won the award for best film of the year is about Cecile, whose fiancé Joakim is paralyzed in a car accident. A little later, Cecile falls in love with a doctor named Niels. He works at the same hospital where the embittered Joakim is being rehabilitated, and Niels' wife is again to blame for Joakim's accident. Director Anne Bier did not follow the dogma rule completely slavishly, which is a good thing considering Lars von Trier's rants.
