Dan Capelli (James Russo) is a prison guard at a notorious prison whose life is anything but trouble-free. The pressures of his job and Dan's past have made him a ticking time bomb that could explode at any moment.

Dan falls passionately in love with female inmate Gidel (Cynda Williams). The pair develop a passionate relationship that is doomed when the bars separate the lovers. Condition Red was filmed in a Philadelphia prison in 25 days.
