Going to Kansas City

"Kansas City, this is where we're coming from," Mikko (Mikko Nousiainen) exclaims when he goes to the United States as an exchange student. Instead of a bustling metropolis, he finds himself in the small, rural town of Canaan, where outsiders are not welcome. On top of all that, Mikko falls in love with Carly Malone (Melissa Galianos), the daughter of the town's embittered deputy sheriff Malone (Michael Ironside).
