Elmeri, who is confined to a mental hospital, learns that a gold treasure hidden by his father during the war awaits him in Lapland. Elmeri lures his caretaker Janne-Petteri Broman, a gay man obsessed with gold, along on an escape. On the way, the pair encounter two ragtag bandits, Dille and Jönss, and a vicious Nazi, Peter North, who is also after the gold treasure. It is clearly a mess that only the country's most popular comedy troupe can confuse.
