Regeneration - Sodan uhrit

Regeneration

The year is 1917 and the First World War is taking its toll. British officer and poet Siegfried Sassoon (James Wilby) is fighting on the front lines, but only understands the madness of war through the deaths of his friends. He writes an anti-war statement, which threatens him with a court-martial. However, he avoids the trial, but ends up in a mental hospital. In the midst of the madness of war, it is impossible to say who is ultimately sane and who is not.
